Training

Canadian Sport School

I was accepted into the Canadian sport school in 2015. Sport school allows me to balance my athletic and academic goals.

For the first two blocks of class, I attend academic core courses at Prince George Secondary School. In the afternoons from 1-3 Monday to Thursday, I go to sport school. Here I train for rugby and basketball.

We also have guest speakers come talk to us as well as mental training and nutrition seminars to make us well rounded athletes.

My Training

Lift Workouts include Bench press,  Single Arm Military Press, Chin ups, Skull Crushers and Seated Row, Lat Pull Down, and more.

My workouts also include activation sessions with stretching, band work, and ball work before every workout

​

Cardio Days can range from sprints, to long distance, to circuits depending on the week

​

Active recovery is a way the recover my body after taxing competitions while staying active.

​

The way my week breaks down depends where I am at in my season. If I am in a busy section, I will likely have more recoveries than lifts. If I am at a slow point in my season, I will lift to build up my body.

​

I also practice twice a week.
